WIP Wednesday: Hello Spring!

This was a busy week for me as I have been working to finish a couple tutorial projects and not really working a ton on my regular WIP list. Last week I gave you a sneak preview of the "secret" project I have been working on for the Intrepid Thread newsletter. I am happy to say that the project and the tutorial are finished!

The Hello Spring! Cushion pattern should be available soon (probably within the week) through the March newsletter, so sign up and keep an eye on your mailbox if you would like to check it out. :) And thanks to Julie for sending me this gorgeous Hello Pilgrim fabric to play with! She has the collection in the shop now (on her awesome new website too!) if you are interested in picking some up.

Over the weekend I also had the chance to travel to Spokane, WA to hear Anna Maria Horner speak and it was fabulous! She is just as sweet and funny in person as she is on her blog. She presented a ton of information about how she became a textile designer, how she tends to work on new collections, and even what we can expect to see this summer when her next collection, Field Study, arrives. She showed us all of the prints from the collection and I have to say it's going to be very eclectic and fresh. There is a sneak peek of it on her blog here and here

  7. I've been excited about some of the Hello Pilgrim prints - nice to see it stitched up into something! I really like how you alternated the direction of the stripes. The butterfly print is a lot nicer than I was expecting in-use vs how it looked from the swatch.

  11. Your pillow is great! I'm so jealous that you met AMH!! I fear that I would look like such a stalker if I ever met her. She's certainly my favorite! :)
